By Jeff Rapp, October 17th, 2017

Three Ohio State Buckeyes have been selected to various Midseason All-American football teams this week:

• Senior center Billy Price was named to the Associated Press midseason All-America teeam;

• Junior cornerback Denzel Ward was named to the CBS Sports first-team and to the Associated Press second midseason All-America team; and

• Sophomore defensive end Nick Bosa was named to the first teams as chosen by The All-American and The Sporting News, and to Sports Illustrated’s second team.

Price is the leader of an offensive line that is powering the Buckeyes to national rankings of No. 2 in total offense, No. 11 in passing offense and No. 17 in rushing. The two-time team captain has started 48 consecutive games for the Buckeyes.

Ward ranks 10th in the nation with 10 total passes defensed (nine pass break-ups and one interception), a total that is tied for first in the Big Ten Conference.

Bosa leads the Big Ten with 10 tackles-for-loss and is sixth with 3.5 quarterback sacks. He is 23rd nationally in TFLs despite averaging just 34 plays per game.

The Buckeyes next face Penn State on Oct. 28 (3:30 p.m., FOX).
